POLAROID POLACHROME/HC
ISO 40/17°
Grain: Not stated
RP: 90 lpm
ID: CS/HCP

PolaChrome instant color-slide films process in 60 seconds in the Polaroid AutoProcessor, yielding sharp, somewhat grainy slides with quite accurate color reproduction. PolaChrome HC is a higher-contrast version for tech applications, not intended for general photography. Due the the films' unusual reflectance, OTF exposure meters won't produce correct exposures.

AGFACHROME CTPRECISA 200
ISO 200/24°
Grain: RMS 12
RP: 120/50 lpm ID: CTprecisa 200

Similar in color rendition to Agfachrome CTprecisa 100 but a stop faster and a bit less sharp, CTprecisa 200 provides very fine grain for the speed. CTprecisa 200 offers more-accurate colors both strong and soft, neutral tones without color cast, and better highlight and shadow detail. Like CTprecisa 100, CTprecisa 200 pushes well. A good general-purpose slide film.

AGFACHROME RSX II 200 PROF.
ISO 200/24°
Grain: RMS 12
RP: 110/50 lpm
ID: RSX II 200

Agfachrome RSX II 200 is the pro version of Agfa's ISO 200 slide film, a fine general-purpose emulsion that shares the RSX II family's excellent characteristics delineated in the write-up of RSX II 50. RSX II 200 Professional can be pushed two stops or pulled one with little effect on color balance. No reciprocity compensation is needed for exposure times from one second to 1/10,000.

FUJICHROME SENSIA 200
ISO 200/24°
Grain: RMS 13
RP: 140/60 lpm
ID: RM

Sensia 200 replaces Sensia II 200 in Fujifilm's consumer slide-film family. Like the new Sensia 400, Sensia 200 incorporates Fujifilm's new Super-Fine SigmaCrystal Technology for finer grain. Colors are natural and vivid, reciprocity characteristics are excellent, neutral tones remain neutral, and the slides look great projected on a big screen. Sensia 200 can be pushed a stop with good results.

KODAK ELITE CHROME 200
ISO 200/24°
Grain: RMS 12
RP: Not stated
ID: ED

Kodak's consumer-oriented 200-speed Ektachrome slide film, Elite chrome 200 offers a quantum improvement in graininess over its predecessor, Elite II 200. It also delivers pure, enhanced colors, pleasing skin tones, improved shadow and highlight detail, great sharpness—in effect, this is the consumer version of the superb new Ektachrome E200 Professional film.

KODAK EKTACHROME E200 PROF.
ISO 200/24°
Grain: RMS 12
RP: Not stated
ID: E200

Kodak's excellent medium-speed pro slide film, E200 offers the look of a lower-speed film (rich colors, very fine grain, great sharpness and lower contrast) with ISO 200 speed. But it can be pushed to EI 400 and 800 with excellent results. Even at EI 1000, there's minimal change in the contrast, excellent color rendition, natural skin tones and good detail in highlights and shadows. A great low-light film.

KODACHROME 200
ISO 200/24°
Grain: RMS 19
RP: 100/50 lpm
ID: KL

Combining the rich blacks and brilliant colors of Kodachrome with a speed of ISO 200, Kodachrome 200 has more grain and less sharpness than K25—although this is still a very sharp film—but that's to be expected with an 8X increase in film speed. Image quality is excellent, and colors are extremely accurate. It lacks the exposure latitude of some other 200-speed slide films.

FUJICHROME PROVIA 400F PROF.
ISO 400/27°
Grain: RMS 13
RP: Not stated
ID: RHPIII

Featuring far and away the finest grain in a 400-speed slide film, Provia 400F also provides faithful color reproduction, excellent push/pull characteristics (it yields good results at EIs from 200-3200 with adjustments in processing), excellent sharpness and more. Its predecessor, Provia 400, was our favorite ISO 400 slide film, and the new Provia 400F is a better film in all respects.

FUJICHROME SENSIA 400
ISO 400/27°
Grain: RMS 13
RP: 135/55 lpm
ID: RH

The mass-market version of Provia 400F, new Sensia 400 offers similar characteristics: Image quality is excellent for the speed (Sensia and Provia 400 are actually finer grained than some of the ISO 200 color-slide films on the market), colors are warm and natural, contrast is normal with a good D-max black—it's a great workhorse film for action and low-light work.

KODAK ELITE CHROME 400
ISO 400/27°
Grain: RMS 19
RP: Not stated
ID: EL

Employing Kodak's T-Grain technology, Elite chrome 400 yields brilliant colors and great sharpness for a 400-speed slide film. Reciprocity characteristics are excellent—Kodak states that pictures taken at high shutter speeds or with flash will match those taken at longer shutter speeds down to 1/10. A fine low-light slide film when daylight color balance is needed.
