Monthly Contest: Doorways

1 Grand Prize Congratulations to C.J. Groth of Key West, Florida, who photographed this winning doorway in Trinidad, Cuba with a Canon EOS A2E and Canon 28—105mm zoom lens. Shot with Fuji NHG II film, the image was scanned into a Macintosh G4, worked in Adobe Photoshop and output on Epson Archival matte paper using an Epson 2000P printer. 2 Don Dyer of New York City shot this doorway in Antalya, Turkey, with his Nikon N90s and 35—70mm f/2.8 Nikkor zoom lens on Fuji 200 film. The exposure was not recorded. Click on image for larger picture.

3 Sandro Cuccia of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, photographed "Adobe Doorway" with a Nikon F100 and Nikkor 24—120mm f/3.5—5.6D zoom lens at 100mm. The film used was Fuji Velvia; the Nik Color Efex Midnight filter was later applied in Photoshop. Click on image for larger picture.

4 Chris Whitney of Chula Vista, California, photographed "Pueblo Church" with a Canon T90 and Tokina 17mm lens. The film used was Fujichrome 100. Click on image for larger picture.

5 "Closed in Bucks County" was taken by Barbara Warren of Yardley, Pennsylvania, with her tripod-mounted Canon A2 with 28—105mm lens using Fuji Velvia film.
