December 30, 2004 — VuPoint Solutions is marketing a credit-card size digital camera that generates screen-resolution images, yet weighs only 1.3 ounces. The miniature DC-M30BT-VP digital camera measurers only 3.3" by 0.2" by 2" yet features a 4.9mm, F2.78 lens and enough SDRAM memory, 8 MB, to store 26 640 x 480 pixel images or 52 320 x 240 pixel images. It includes three exposure modes (single, streaming video, and automatic) as well as automatic white balance.

Powered by a built-in Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery, the DC-M30BT-VP attaches to Windows-based computers through their USB port. The camera includes a 10 second self-timer, USB cable, camera strap, camera base, and software CD. It carries a suggested list price of $59.95.
