Mamiya Medium-Format Digital Camera
Designed with the professional photographer in mind, Mamiya has announced its
first integrated medium-format digital camera, the ZD SLR. It features a 22-megapixel
36x48mm Dalsa CCD imaging sensor, which is nearly three times the size of a
full-size 35mm D-SLR sensor. Its 14-bit A/D converter records information as
12-bit per color channel for superior color accuracy. It also offers a frame-capture
rate of 1.5 fps and built-in SD and CF media storage card slots. The Mamiya
ZD’s on-board software allows you to select to fill both media cards automatically,
for long, uninterrupted shooting. The ZD’s camera body design is based
on Mamiya’s 645AFD series, and all Mamiya 645AF lenses are compatible
with the ZD. Mamiya America Corp., 8 Westchester Plaza, Elmsford, NY 10523;
