Photoflex Tabletop Shooting Tent
The new LiteRoom is a tabletop-sized shooting tent for use in photographing
small products, either by flash/strobe or continuous lighting sources. Although
it works well with strobe and flash for nearly shadow-free lighting, the LiteRoom
creates even softer, more diffuse light when used with Photoflex’s Starlite
kits that feature SilverDome softboxes. The LiteRoom comes in medium (24.5x32
inches, 17 inches high), and large (34x45 inches, with a depth of 24.5 inches).
The LiteRoom comes with an instructional CD with assembly information and photo-by-photo
setups to help you maximize the product’s capabilities right away. Photoflex,

Multi-Function Light Meter from Sekonic
The Sekonic L-558R DualMaster offers the advantage of triggering cameras and
flash units wirelessly. It’s fully compatible with the PocketWizard Plus
receivers and MultiMax transceivers, and triggers earlier PocketWizard radio
systems. The new Sekonic L-558R DualMaster reads reflected flash down to f/2
(at ISO 100). It includes Sekonic’s built-in retractable Lumisphere. Just
turn the selector knob to extend it for 3D incident readings, or retract it
for a narrow incident metering angle for brightness evaluations or lighting-ratio
setups. The L-558R offers a wide range of custom settings so that you can tailor
it to your individual working methods. This device even boasts a water-resistant,
splash-proof design. Mamiya America Corp., 8 Westchester Plaza, Elmsford, NY

of a computer and is ideal for traveling photographers who need a quick and
easy way to burn the contents of their memory card to a CD-R. Two built-in memory

CameraBright Lighting Accessory
The new CameraBright X1 ensures that you’ll get a well-exposed shot, even
in very low-light situations. This device is easy to use—a single on/off
switch (with automatic shut-off) controls the unit. When it’s on, you
have a constant light source to frame pictures in the viewfinder or LCD preview
screen, and the camera’s built-in flash can be saved for taking the actual
photo. The X1 also reduces the problem of red-eye, so retouching isn’t
required. This compact unit weighs only two ounces with batteries, measures
2.5x1.5x.625 inches, and operates with both film and digital cameras. It simply
attaches to your camera’s tripod socket. CameraBright Inc., 4976 West
61st Pl., Arvada, CO 80003; 303/427-5436. www.camerabright.com.
