SanDisk Photo Album
SanDisk has announced its new Photo Album, a tiny, easy-to-use device that allows
you to display digital photos or video clips on your TV. You can even attach
soundtracks to your slide shows. You don’t need a computer to use the
Photo Album. Simply connect it directly to any TV that has an audio/video input
to show images. It’s also compatible with any one of eight flash memory-card
formats as well as portable USB flash drives. The Photo Album measures 7.4x2.6x.0.8
inches, and comes with a remote control that allows for multiple functions.

The new FlipUp caps from Hoodman function as three-sided hoods to reduce glare

Compact Power Device from Quantum
The new Turbo Compact from Quantum Instruments allows you to power a digital
camera and flash unit together, and the proper voltage for each camera model
is automatically adjusted. To power a different camera or flash, you simply
change the cable. The Turbo C’s energy comes from Nickel Metal Hydride
(NiMH) technology, which offers concentrated power, quick flash recycling and
long power life. The Turbo C displays its remaining capacity on a “fuel
gauge,” with indicators that show power delivered to the camera and/or
flash. When charging, this gauge displays the charging progress. This device
